Hi, I'm Mariana
My design journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Audiovisual and Multimedia, where I discovered my passion for UX/UI design. After graduating, I focused on developing my skills further and started freelancing as a web designer and developer.
Working independently has been rewarding and allows me to help small brands establish a strong online presence, creating websites that are not only visually appealing but also intuitive and user-friendly.
Each project, challenge, and client interaction has contributed to my growth as a designer, making me one step closer to my long-term goal: becoming a senior UX/UI designer, capable of leading impactful projects on a global scale.
When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me playing video games, watching movies, or exploring new music to keep the inspiration flowing.

My Approach
My Approach
Every project has its quirks, so I follow a structured process with room for flexibility, adapting to each project’s unique needs while keeping the workflow smooth and the bigger picture in focus.
01.
Briefing & Research
I begin every project with a client brief to understand goals, vision, and the full scope of the project. This includes discussing the required pages, additional content and features needed, as well as the timeline and budget. I then conduct user research to understand the target audience, identify their needs and pain points, along with a competitive analysis and review trends to spot opportunities. If an existing website is in place, I perform a heuristic evaluation to assess usability and suggest improvements.
02.
Ideation & Strategy
In the ideation phase I brainstorming creative solutions tailored to your business. I create moodboards to explore design concepts that best align with your brand. At the same time, I define the strategy by mapping out user flows, information architecture, and creating basic SEO-optimized content (if needed) to create a smooth, enganging experience.
03.
Wireframing & Visual Design
At this stage, I create wireframes to outline the site’s structure and layout, ensuring an intuitive user flow. Once approved, I move to visual design, where I build high-fidelity, responsive designs that incorporate branding and personality, ensuring the static mockups closely resemble the finished product and align with the approved concept.
04.
Prototyping
In this phase, I create interactive prototypes that simulate the user experience and the "feel" of the design. I also plan key animations and interactions to enhance usability. These prototypes allow us to test functionality and flow, gather early feedback, and make necessary adjustments before moving forward with development.
05.
Development & Launch
I develop the website using no-code tools like Framer, Squarespace, Shopify and WordPress, ensuring it’s fully responsive. Once testing is complete and the site is approved, I transfer ownership to you, making it ready for launch! I can also be added as a site editor for any future maintenance needs. Often I provide instructions for managing and maintaining the website post-launch.
